War on Walls: Egypt’s Arab Spring Street Art was exhibited in Seattle, Washington, USA January 11 – February 15, 2015. The most important, provocative and creative images from this photography project were be displayed in the gallery space at St. Marks Cathedral on Capitol Hill. On January 11, there was an opening reception and presentation on Egypt’s Arab Spring street art movement. Then on February 3rd, 2015, we partnered with the World Affair’s Council to hold an evening event at the exhibit space with many speakers and panelists discusses the changes in the Middle East since the Arab Spring. Genevieve was the opening speaker at the World Affairs Council “Revisiting the Arab Spring” event, discussing the rise of Egypt’s Arab Spring street art movement and its role as an a alternative form of media.
